The self-tightening roller grips are easy & quick to operate grips for tensile testing of rubber, flexible polymers and plastics, elastomers, thin sheets, films, bio-textiles and other flexible materials exhibiting a large reduction in cross-section area during testing.
These grips provide excellent testing accuracy and positive non-slip gripping action. The serrated, eccentric roller is easy to operate by lifting lever and provides positive non-slip action gripping force generated by the spring.The follow up action of the roller during the tensile test prevents the specimen from creeping out of the grip as the clamping action increases clamping force with applied tensile force.
