Electromechanical Axial / Torsional Test System LFM-T Series

Multiaxial states of stress and strain are very common in service life of components as wind turbine rotor blades, crankshaft, pressure vessels and many others.

Consequently limiting the evaluation of a material characteristic to uniaxial tests may lead to misrepresentation of the
behavior of a material in real constructions. Indeed, using more realistic loading conditions, i.e. biaxial conditions, will lead to a more accurate representation of the expected behavior of the structure in-service.
w+b offers the wide range of axial/torsional test systems for static and dynamic biaxial testing. The modular designs are available as
electromechanical or servohydraulic systems.
